My students are Deaf and Hard of Hearing with ages between five through fourteen in a Title One school in an area of South Carolina that has been affected by the recent flooding. They are eager to learn and they want to know all about technology, but being from a high poverty area, they can't afford it. Unfortunately, the school doesn't have the budget for providing it either. Technology-related materials raise the motivation for learning. There are a lot of technology apps for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals to use, and these students need to be exposed to them in order to become successful as adults.
