During this time of distant learning, I have learned that a majority of my students do not have access to technology at home due to the fact that 90% of them come from low income families. My goal is to get more technology in their hands when they come back to school. We will be using the kindles for Raz Kids, Boom Cards, listening to books, etc. Having access to technology will help prepare my students for the world around them and give them opportunities they don't have at home. Also, most of my students are ESOL and access to technology allows them to have visual aids to support their learning.
