Let's get Organized!
Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you so much for donating to my donor's choose project! The binders and dividers were a great addition to my classroom. My students were able to keep all of their resources together in one place and organized.
In the past, I've used folders for each subject and many students struggled to keep their handouts organized and easily accessible and I often had to give them new copies which is difficult when you have limited paper, time and resources.
The best moment was when a student didn't remember what "theme" was and they were able to quickly get their binder and look for the theme handout that I gave her. The binders encourage students to be more independent and engaged in their learning.
I'm excited to continue to use the binders and dividers for the 2023-2024 school year!”

Funded Dec 18, 2017Wow! Thank you all so much for your support and helping fund this project! My students were excited to hear they will be getting a classroom rug. It will be very helpful because they will be able to sit in the front of the classroom during lessons. They will also sit on the rug for independent reading. Thank you all again for your generous donations and your support!”

English Language Learners Need a Listening Center
Funded Dec 20, 2015Dear Donors,
Thank you so much for donating and contributing to my project. My students love their new listening center. This new technology has helped my students improve their reading level and has motivated my reluctant readers to read more.
My students are very excited to use the new listening center. They like that they can read different books even if they are above their reading level. They are also excited that they are improving their vocabulary and learning more English.
The listening center has been especially useful for my new arrivals who are in the process of learning English. They are able to follow along in the text while listening to the story being read to them. My struggling readers have also benefited from the listening center because they can read along. They have improved their reading stamina and can read for long periods of time.
Again, I would like to thank you for you donation and making this project successful for my class.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Garcia
