My school is a struggling school with very low teacher retention. Located in the capital city of Mississippi, our district has 60 schools: 7 high schools and a Career Development Center, 13 middle schools, 38 elementary schools, and the Capital City Alternative School. I teach in one of those 38 elementary schools. We are considered a Title 1 school. My first graders have a want to feel loved and important.
