Technology Opens the Door to Creativity
Funded Aug 14, 2023I am writing this letter on behalf of my middle school English Language Arts (ELA) classes to express our deepest gratitude for the generous donations that allowed us to receive an iPad and Apple Pencil. We are overwhelmed with joy and appreciation for your support in enhancing our learning experience.
Your contribution has made a significant impact on our classroom and the way we approach learning. The iPad and Apple Pencil have opened up a world of possibilities for us. We now have access to a wide range of educational resources, interactive apps, and creative tools that have transformed the way we engage with ELA concepts.
Here are just a few ways in which your generosity has positively affected our classroom:
Engaging Lessons: The iPad allows us to explore ELA concepts through interactive apps, making our lessons more engaging and enjoyable.
Digital Literacy: Your donation has helped us develop digital literacy skills, which are crucial in today's world.
Creativity: With the Apple Pencil, we can express our creativity through digital artwork and annotation, which has added a new dimension to our learning.
Accessibility: The iPad has made it easier for students with different learning needs to access and participate in our lessons.
Research: We can now conduct online research more efficiently, deepening our understanding of various ELA topics.
Your generosity has not only provided us with valuable educational tools but has also inspired us to strive for excellence in our studies. We are determined to make the most of these resources and excel in our ELA class.
We would like to say thank you for making this possible. Your commitment to supporting education and empowering students is truly commendable.
Once again, thank you for making a difference in our education. Your kindness will have a lasting impact on our lives, and we are deeply grateful for your support.”

Funded Nov 2, 2022Thank you so much for donating to our class project on Donors Choose. Because of the money you donated, we received many supplies for our classroom that my students need but cannot afford to buy for school. These markers, colored pencils, headphones, dry-erase boards, pencils, and board games are supplies my students use daily on their assignments and projects. Thank you for pouring into the education of my students and making a difference in their lives. The impact you have made in their lives will be felt for many years to come.”

We like to Move it, Move it!
Funded Feb 8, 2022The items bought for my classroom with the money you provided are being used and enjoyed by my students every day. My students were so excited to see all the new things for our classroom as the boxes started arriving. They helped me assemble the bicycle desks and unpackaged the other items as soon as they were delivered because they were too excited to wait. Having all the different flexible seating options has helped my active students be able to focus on their classwork while being able to move at the same time. Thank you so much!”

Funded Oct 8, 2010Thank you so very much for fully funding our project! The Bitty Bottom seat cushions that were bought with your donation are used every day by my students. They love using the cushions while they are working at their desks and while sitting on the floor.
While using the seat cushions my students are able to move around in their seat which gives them the sensory input which, studies show, increases their ability to concentrate. Students with attention and concentration difficulties crave movement and with these cushions, they are able to have it.
Thank you so much for not only giving to my classroom's project, but for all of the projects you funded through Limeades For Learning.”

Can iRead with an iPod, Please?!
Funded Jul 19, 2009I want to thank you from all of my students for funding this project. My hope is that with these materials, I can help my readers fall in love with reading chapter books; a task which seems too daunting to many early readers.
Having this iPod is allowing my students to listen to books on CD's that have been downloaded on the iPod while reading along. By doing this, they are developing fluency in their reading and building their comprehension skills. Purchasing an iPod for my class was far out of reach of our school budget and I would not have been able to provide this for my students if not for your donation, so, thank you. My students' eyes light up when it is their turn to read&listen to a chapter book on the iPod. Thank you again for funding this project!”
