Thank you so much for your generous donation. I work in a Title 1 school in a very large district so we are at times lacking for some resources that other, more affluent schools have. This year I was lucky enough to have enough technology that my students could be 1-to-1 and use their computers and IPads throughout the day. This came with the added challenge of creating enough differentiated materials to meet their individual needs. One of the wonderful things about technology is that it is engaging and allows for a more efficient way (through a variety of sites such as Google Classroom and Edmentum) to meet each student's needs. Your donation allowed me to purchase resources to meet the needs of my lowest student (reading at a pre-kindergarten level) to my highest student (reading above grade level).

For my struggling readers, your donation allowed me to purchase materials I could load into their Google Classroom accounts to use during Guided Reading time when I was working in small groups. They need the most attention, far more than others, but often struggle to work independently. I purchased materials that followed the Science of Reading approach to work on key phonics skills, the basics of reading. Not only were they actively engaged, but they asked for more! Thank you again!”
