Sensation Station!

We want to take time to thank each and every one of you guys who donated to our project. When we saw the table and the sand, our eyes lit up. We were so excited to finally have enough sand for everyone to be able to play and a table to keep the sand in so that our room won't get messy. Because of you, we have more sensory sand and we are all able to share sand and meet our sensory needs throughout the day without making a huge mess right at our desks. We love to request sensory breaks and being able to go participate in an activity that helps us learn to regulate ourselves.
We are so grateful to have such generous people surrounding us that care about our needs and educational environment enough to take their hard earned money and put it into our classroom. We will always be grateful for all that you have done to help us.
We are positive that this will not only help us but it will also help future students who will get to experience Ms. Mia's classroom.”

Funded Jan 25, 2016First off, I'd like to thank all of you for donating to our classroom. It means the world for me to be able to provide my students with the materials that they need to be successful. With these Boogie Boards, I think that the students will have an alternative way to stay engaged and up to date with technology that is available to help them at school and in their every day lives. As always, our classroom is always open to known visitors and parents who would like to see how donated materials are used and how happy they make our students. Thanks again for being awesome providers and giving what you can to our students. We love you for it and can't appreciate your efforts enough! It really takes a village!! :-)”

Bouncing Out Our Jitters!
Funded Oct 14, 2015Thank you guys so much for your donations! My students and I are so grateful for the support from everyone. I can't fully express my gratitude. I feel like I'm able to do my job better when I have the things I know will help my students succeed.
Students will now be able to work at our kidney table and bounce at the same time or even use the balls over in our "Relaxation Station" for breaks. My students love the balls and the fact that we have more to go around now is exciting for everyone.
Finding DonorsChoose has been an amazing experience and I'm so glad that despite a lack of funding, I was able to find another way to get my students the things they need. You guys are the best!”
