Funded Jul 27, 2023Thank you so much for your generosity. These items with greatly impact the start of our school year. I can’t wait to share new additions to our school library with the students. This will also lessen the burden of parents having to spend so much at the beginning of the year on supplies.”

Supplying for a New School Year!
Funded Jul 27, 2022Thank you for your kindness and generosity. With the materials my students are able to show their thinking and share with partners. They are able to slide worksheets and mini anchor charts in the write and wipe sheets to help during math lessons. These are used daily. We are also currently using them to practice math fact fluency and phonics centers. My students were so excited to receive new materials, as the old sheets were utilized last year, and have had better days. Dry erase markers are constantly being used to express thinking, show work, and practice spellings. My classroom is grateful for your kindness. Thank you again.”

Ms. Davis

Funded Sep 21, 2021The impact of the diverse classroom library has been very positive within my classroom. Students are able to relate to characters in their stories. Use information about a character to synthesize an opinion using evidence in the text of what the character says and does. This has helped build a love of reading with my students.
They are excited to share their thinking and opinions with a partner. Recommend books and series to a friend, and point out parts they enjoyed, whether it be funny, or surprising.
Thank you for all your kindness, my students and I really appreciate it!”

Funded Jul 26, 2021I hope this letter finds you well. In the spirit of Thanksgiving and showing gratitude I felt it was the best time to express my gratitude to all of you for your kindness and thoughtfulness to support my students. This school year, like last year is far from normal. With the materials your donation helped purchase, we were able to keep our classroom clean, safe and exciting.
The students were so excited to receive the materials to use for a new school year. I had 11 students who remained remote last year, and this was their first time entering a school since kindergarten! The materials are used daily, the write and wipe sheets are used for math, the dry erase markers are used throughout our day, and the cleaning supplies are used constantly!
Thank you again for your contribution and kindness.”

Funded Jul 25, 2018Thank you again for your generosity. My students were so happy to see the boxes arrive to the classroom. The write and wipe boards have been used to create personal white boards for our math curriculum and are used almost every day! Dry Erase markers make it possible for students to write on the white boards and show their thinking in math. Crayons have been used to illustrate their responses to reading, and their writing. Headphones are making it possible for students to complete lessons on the computers and chromebooks. Overall these donations have really made a difference to a new school year!”

Centering Our Learning With Centers
Funded Jan 19, 2017Thank you all for the support and donations towards my classroom and students. When the package arrived, my students were so excited! They always love when new materials come into the classroom. We have been using the materials daily.
The supplies we received are regularly used during center time. The bins are used for organization of different centers such as fluency, phonics practice, card games and math fact centers. Students are able to know which bin is for their group by the colors of the bins! It works great. My students are also able to monitor their reading during fluency centers by using the sand timers (those were a big hit). Markers are used for completing assignments that have to do with creating or illustrating. It is so great to have more markers in the room for students to use.
Overall, the donations went to great use. The students are happy, motivated and learning, and learning centers are more organized. Thank you all again!”

Ms. Davis
Supplying the New School Year
Funded Aug 17, 2016Dear Donors,
I would like to once again thank you for your generosity. The school year has been going by smoothly thanks to the pocket charts, book bins, and PENCILS! The students are able see where phonics/spelling, and vocabulary words, as well as other important information due to the pocket charts hung around the classroom. Students are able to keep track of their leveled books in their book bins for added organization. We haven't run out of pencils yet, and hopefully won't for the next couple months. I can't express enough how much it means to me when people come together to donate to our youth. It means a lot to me and my students. Thank you again!”

Supplies for Engagement
Funded Mar 20, 2016Thank you all again for your continued support of my classroom. My students and I are so happy to use these new resources! The dry erase markers, crayons, and new pencil sharpener were well needed and have already been put to so much use. During our phonics lessons, all students are able to participate at the same time to eagerly show that they can apply this new skill. The dry erase markers are also used during math, and guided reading to practice skills learned.
As always, my students were excited when the boxes arrived at our door. I told them that kind donors helped us get new materials for our classroom. They all know that our supplies dwindle as the year moves on. This was just the thing to get excited about certain activities again.
Lastly, the crayons were very helpful to have in the classroom. There were so many broken, missing, and lack of colors before we got our HUGE box! Now students are able to illustrate pictures that go along with their writing, design covers of books, and color end of the year activities. All of my students love to color!
Thank you all again! The materials were and are well used!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Davis

Funded Sep 15, 2015Thank you all again for your kindness to support my classroom this year with much needed technology. As a first year teacher, I want the best for my students, but the funds aren't always there. By working together to donate to my classroom I am able to provide my at risk students with what they need. The students are beyond grateful and use the iPads daily. This promotes growth in both reading and math. We use various apps during independent time to give students a chance to have interactive learning.
The iPads are also used for behavior management. I was able to download a "noise meter" app that promotes a fun way to work quietly when needed. The students love this app and look forward to earning stars and rewards for working at a proper noise level.
Lastly, I am able to take pictures and videos of students working in the classroom. We love to see the way we transition from activity to activity, and of course they love to see pictures of themselves!
I can't express how lucky I feel that you all donated to my cause. Thank you again!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Davis
