Teaching on the Go
Funded Dec 18, 2020Thank you so much for funding my "On the Go" project! I have used my cart everyday since receiving it and it has made my life so much easier! I carry all my whiteboards, manipulatives and laptop with me to each classroom that I visit with ease. I can quickly find everything that I need when I am working in small group with my students. The outside compartments are great for carrying dry erase markers, counters, etc , without it falling all over the place when I'm rolling through the hallways. My students have quick access to the whiteboards and manipulatives.
My kinder and first grade group were so excited to use the magnetic ten frames. I have even use them with some upper grade students and they had a good time using the back of the paddles for their hide and share activity.
Once again thank you so much for funding my project my students and I really appreciate it.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Torres

Funded Oct 30, 2019On behalf of my third graders, I would like to thank you all so much for your kind donation that allowed us to receive the storage units we desperately needed in our classroom. The students were so happy to see the new materials when they were delivered to our class. They even offered their ideas on where I should place them for easy access to their materials!
As you can see in the pictures each table has their own storage where they store their math and science workbooks and their Hero in Me Binders. These binders are used to track their progress of each objective we are working on. On top of the storage unit they have baskets with everyday needed materials like pencils, highlighters, expo markers, etc. They also have folders with any sort of needed aids like multiplication chart, sentence starters for English language learners, etc. We also used some bins to store extra school supplies and I labeled some units with graph paper, exit ticket, homework, etc for students that were absent or table helpers can quickly grab what they need without classroom or lesson interruptions. Again, thank you so much for your donations and allowing me to give my students a organized classroom that inspires them to learn!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Torres
