My students come from a very diverse population in the East Bay. The majority of my students are of color with a large portion of that number coming from Asian countries. The students here are engaged learners who have seen their parents work extremely hard to get where they are. Their parents understand that an education is paramount to a successful future and that it begins in public school. Many of my students grew up with a second language spoken in the home. They come from different cultures that the school embraces. My students enjoy learning for the intrinsic value of learning. My school understands that the community begins in our classrooms and extends to the community outside the school. Our school takes great pride in high standards and the high expectations from the community. We strive to exceed them year after year.
