Our school is based in a very rural area and, despite this, our students have very little knowledge of environmental education and conservation practices. They beg for things to do that allow them to be outdoors and enjoy learning more about the environment. However, in the past, we have been limited to special events like Earth Day to get our students excited about the environment. They enjoy the activities and always ask for but until now we have not had the opportunity to expand their environmental knowledge outdoors.
