Virtual Treasure Chest
Funded Oct 23, 2020I would like to thank you for the positive impact you have had on my students by donating to my classroom. Your donation to help me implement a virtual treasure chest has tremendously impacted my students. Your kindness is so appreciated.
Each week students show up to online class, submit their work and participate all because of you! They work hard in hopes their name will be submitted to our random name picker wheel. When their name is selected, they get $10 to spend on Amazon. I then use my Amazon Prime account to have their selected prize shipped to their house. Online school is challenging for many and your donation helped to motivate my 5th and 6th graders to do their best!
It is amazing to see their excitement when they win their prize! They have selected things such as a mouse for their computer, LED lights, Legos, and headphones to help them in their learning. I even had a student use their prize money in order to purchase a Christmas present for his mother.
I hope this brings as much joy to you to read as it does me to write. This unexpected and gift of generosity has done more then I ever expected.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Davidson
This classroom project was brought to life by OshKosh B'gosh.Cozy Carpet Needed in Our Room
Funded Nov 12, 2015Thank you so much for the generous donation of a cozy carpet for my classroom. The carpet was greatly needed to improve the classroom environment. It provides a positive learning environment for my students.
The colorful carpet was an exciting addition to our classroom. The students were thrilled when the new carpet arrived and were ecstatic to sit in their newly assigned spot. They enjoy having something new and clean to sit on.
The carpet provides a definitive, comfortable space for each student to sit and listen during books being read and teacher instruction. The students also have a soft, warm carpet to sit on for projects, center time, group activities and silent reading time. Your generosity in donating this to our classroom not only benefits my current group of students, but will be beneficial for students years to come.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Davidson
