  • Care Package of Basic Supplies!

    Funded Dec 17, 2022

I can't express enough how your contribution helped our our classroom. With the new supplies we were able to replace old materials with some fresh new ones. My students loved the colorful copy paper which we used to brighten up centers and hand outs. With the new supplies students got new crayons, expo markers and erasers . All of these materials we use every day and we loved getting fresh new ones in the middle of the year.

My students and I thank you greatly we loved opening the care package together and getting out our new goodies!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Riddle

  • Fun Learning Centers for All!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donation! Since we have gotten your donation I have purchased several learning centers for both reading and math.

We use our reading centers every day to work on skills students need to be successful readers. Such as reading comprehension centers, reading fluency, and Phonics centers.

We use our math centers to review certain skills students might need review in. We also use it to help fill in learning gaps, areas where students need a lot of extra practice in.

My students love learning with these centers they are hands on and engaging. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Riddle

  • Materials Needed!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

I can't thank you enough for your generosity. Since we got the new materials we were able to replace items that needed to be replaced like folders and pencils. We have used the other items such as paper and highlighters to enhance our reading time. For example we use the highlighters to dig deeper into reading highlighting areas to help us understand what we are reading. We also used the highlighters to highlight our word sorts.

Your donation has helped us restock and add on to the core instruction of the day. We truly appreciate it.”

  • Headphones for All!

    Funded Dec 31, 2020

Thank you very much for your generous donation. This school year has been like no other school. My students had to go through a lot last March when we shut down completely. I was so excited that I had the chance to move up with those students to the next grade level and be there teacher again. . We experienced a lot of challenges this year one being teaching the students how to use their devices in school and at home. I have a split class some in person and some online so this made my job to get them to be able to engage with each other harder. This is where you generous donations of much needed head phones came in . With out your headphones we had horrible feedback noise. Now with them all my students have a pair of headphones and they can hear me and the rest of their classmates. Again my class and I thank you for your generous gift.”

  • Distance Learning Tool! IXL!

    Funded Dec 29, 2020

Thank you so very much for your very generous donations. This year has been a challenge with most of my students online and some come into school, I searched for an awesome program that would not only engage my students but challenge them . When I found IXL and used the trial with my class I fell in love with it. IXL challenges my students and makes them have to master the concept. IXL is fun and it awards my students with fun prizes they can collect on line. I am very grateful that you have gifted this program to our class and I want you to know we use it everyday in the classroom and my students love it!

We can not thank you enough for your donation”

  • Tech Needed!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so very much for your generous donation!

These last couple of months with the computers that you generously donated has been amazing. I am now able to allow almost all of my students to use the computer everyday instead of 1 time a week. We just recently were able to get all of our hours in for reading and math on the software program that the school uses. The students have not only improved in how they use technology but they also have improved academically in both reading and math.

I seriously can not thank you enough for you generosity. You not only impacted this years class but you will help students to come as well.”

  • Becoming Great Readers and Mathematicians!

    Funded Dec 27, 2017

Thank You so very much for your generous donation! My students were super excited when we got our supplies. They have become such better readers and mathematicians with your generous donations.

You donation allowed us to receive math materials that we didn't have. This has supported my students in learning how to add and subtract better. We also received so much need reading books. My students absolutely loved the books and now ask to read which makes me feel great!

The great thing about your donation is that you haven't just touched the lives of this years class but you've helped out the students that will come in future years to my classroom as well.

Thank you again for your very generous and greatly appreciated donation.”

  • Reading Journals

    Funded Mar 9, 2016

There are not enough words to express the gratitude we have for your generous donation! Since we got our reading journals we have set them up, and have been using them all of the time. My students love to use them.

We use our notebooks for mini lessons, where I teach a new skill. Then students use that new skill and apply it to their own book. Students also use their notebooks for reflection on their story and to ask any questions they may have on what they just read.

Your donation has allowed me to give my first graders a skill that they will be able to carry with them from grade to grade, and in turn make them strong readers. With all of our hearts we thank you for your very generous donation.”

    Mrs. Riddle

  • Books, Books and More Books!

    Funded Jan 29, 2016

Thank you very much for your very generous donation. It has been a few months since we received the books. My students love all of the books so much. We have been using the books during guided reading, and the other ones for independent reading. My students have been begging for the chance to read them, they only get two days a week with their guided reading books and they literally count the days until its their day. The books we got from your donation are classic literature books that I remember listening to and reading when I was their age, and I'm so glad that they enjoy them. as much as I did, and still do.

My one book group is reading all of the Arthur books and then creating Facebook pages for the characters on a book site called Fakebook, they absolutely love it and have learned so much about characters from their experience.

We are very thankful for your donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Riddle

My students are a mix of special education students and general education students. My students are hard workers and love to learn. They love to move around the classroom to different stations. They love listening to books and reading magazines. That's why this year I want to meet all this by creating a fantastic reading center.
