Teachers Pay Teachers Gift Cards
Funded Jun 4, 2024On behalf of myself and the 50 kids I teach this year, thank you so much for donating to this project. The resources I can now get are going to go so far to help create engaging lessons for my students and allow me to use technology to support their learning.
As much as having district provided resources is great sometimes the various needs in the classroom aren't compatible with the one size fits all that tends to come from big programs. Teachers pay teachers allows me to find accompanying lessons at levels that are appropriate for all students in my class.”

Storyworks Works!
Funded May 3, 2024We're only two articles into the gift and it's already greatly improved student engagement and understanding in compared to years without it. The first lessons we did were learning about cause and effect text structure. We read an article about dinosaur extinction, a high interest read for many kids, and not only did cause and effect work perfectly with it but the kids' understanding was phenomenal. After that article, we went to our formal ELA program and read a story and the responses on cause and effect I got this year were far superior than the previous years.
Thank you so much!”

Standing Tables
Funded Mar 20, 2024THESE ARE SUCH A HIT! Teachers and students LOVE them. I'd love to replace all my tables with tables like this! Not only is it great for me to see without have to crouch down (and unexpected perk) but the kids LOVE these. My other tables are ignored now. We've used these pushed together as a square for groups and l as shown in the pictures, pulled a part for one or two people to use. They're compact in size and very light weight so they're easy for any kid to scoot into the configuration they want or need. Not only do the kids love them but every teacher who comes in my room seems to love them too!”

Fraction Frenzy for Fifth
Funded May 6, 2024These sets are amazing! We used to use paper fractions circles and each year the kids would cut them out and have the tool. However, as you can imagine, if not cut precisely they were not always the most reliable or easy to see tool. Having these sets now has not only given us more valuable class time but it has cut out the human error element.
I'm confident with these fraction sticks the kids will have such an easier time comparing fractions. Let's not forget how instrumental they'll be when subtracting or adding unlike deniminators!”

Funded Aug 3, 2023Thank you so much for allowing me to get this amazing book into the hands of my students. We've just started it and the kids are already hooked! I think some of the most powerful understanding that they've already gained is the hardship that Salva has gone through and he is only the same age as they are. Just the other day, students were able to read a chapter and then answer some really great questions based on that chapter. It really stimulated conversation as it gave students the chance to really be a part of the discussion.”

Funded Aug 2, 2023The students are beyond excited to see all the new additions to the options of class prizes. They erupted in cheering as I pulled out more and more materials. Gone are the days of dollar store trinkets that I prayed wouldn't break on the students. They now have quality prizes to save for and earn... prizes that they are actually excited to work towards. The kids are trying so hard to meet the 5th grade behavior expectations and there is no doubt in my mind that these fabulous class prizes are a big reason why!”

Funded May 11, 2023Thank you so so much! The cabinets that I recieved are just what I was hoping for. I am able to safely and orderly secure the science materials in these cabinets - no more shoving science materials in bins where they would often spill or just be in general disorder! Not only has it helped us get organized but it also means additional space for students. Some students will use the area as a little reading nook while others will use the tops as a working surface. They are the perfect height for a 5th grader to stand and work at!
The headphones are also so great to have. Now, all students can listen to the videos or other audio media without being distracted by the others!”

Funded Jul 18, 2023Thank you so much for donating to this cause. I've already been able to purchase some great activities from teacherspayteachers! My favorite so far has been the marshmallow stem activity. I used it to introduce students to science this year. Together they worked in small groups to build the tallest structure they could that could support a marshmallow. Their only supplies were tape, string, and 20 uncooked sticks of spaghetti! What a sight to see. Not only did I enjoy the activity, but even more importantly, the students did!”

Flexible Seating Tools
Funded May 3, 2022Do we love our flexible seating arrangements!? Yes! We do! The kids are constantly asking to use the tools which allow them to sit in spots that work for them but also have a good surface to do their work on! We all thank you so much for donating to this project. The supplies we've been given will help students for many years to come! The days of kids spread out across the floor because they prefer to sit on the floor but need a surface to write on, are over. I'm hoping this project is just the start of the flexible seating options in my class.”

Funded May 7, 2022What a great help these trays have been! We used them our first week of school for our first science stem activity. It helps keeps everything so organized and easy to transport to each station. In these pictures, the students were trying to design the tallest spaghetti structure to hold up a marshmallow. The students even used the trays to help secure their structures! These trays will also be able to help contain any spills that may happen with future science labs that involve liquid. I was actually able to share these trays with the other 5th grade science teacher and so we're getting twice as much use from them. Thank you so much!”
