Help me give my students a magazine from Weekly Scholastic News called “Let’s Find Out!” I will use the “Let’s Find Out” magazine to expose my students to social studies and science topics while building literacy skills and a school to home connection. I will use it to teach reading readiness skills such as concepts of print, letter recognition, vocabulary development, and comprehension. These skills are especially important with our young students to build an interest and love of reading from an early age. Additionally, I want to give families an opportunity to engage in literacy activities with their children by sending home the magazine at the end of each week.
