Hello Donors, I am a new elementary librarian for Keithville Elementary School in Keithville, La. I will be teaching grades Pre-K - 5 and our library is pretty bare. I would love to have a library rug for my lower elementary students to sit on for story time. This would liven up the space and create a specific sitting area for listening to a good story. I would also enjoy having a rocking chair in which to sit and read to the children. It is so quintessential for a librarian to read while sitting in a rocking chair. Lastly, for my upper elementary students, I would like to liven up their area with some small pieces of comfy furniture. Having these items will create a warm welcoming atmosphere for my students to embrace the words of a good book. We are counting on YOU to help revive our wonderful library. Thank You!!
