I teach Kindergarten in a Title I school where there is a majority of students who speak English as a Second Language. During the 2014-2015 school year, I had 18 students, with 17 of them speaking English as a Second Language. Learning the vocabulary doesn't come easy for them and most of them are visual learners. They require hands on materials in order to understand the concepts I need to teach them. All of my students love coming to school to learn and are always excited when they understand a concept that they were having difficulty with.
