Change It Up With Interactive Math
Funded Mar 17, 2023This project has allowed my students to experience the engaging note taking strategy of interactive notebooks. Supplies donated not only impact my students from this past school year, but will continue to impact my students next year. The teachers pay teachers gift card allows me to purchase extra resources to use in my classroom. These include new foldables, engaging activities, and activities that incorporate technology. The consumable resources provided by this donors choose project allows me to do more hands on learning. My students and I greatly appreciate your donation to our classroom.”

Visualize the Math
Funded Mar 30, 2017It means so much to me that you would contribute to my students in the way you have. The supplies I have asked for will be a visual to the abstract concepts my students struggle with the most. Your contribution will help me convey my love of math to students who currently find math to be their most difficult subject. Thank you again for your support to my classroom, my current students, and the future students that will also benefit from these materials. I can not wait to use these materials in the upcoming school year.”

Funded Oct 5, 2016Thank you so much for donating to our classroom. Your donations really make our Interactive Notebooks fun, creative, and all around amazing. When my students saw all the materials we received they were so excited and could not believe other people would contribute in such a big way to our classroom. We use the paper, glue sticks, and scissors you helped donate every day in our class as we take notes and manage our interactive notebooks. These donations will help us be able to keep taking notes in an interactive way (which helps the students learn better). Thank you again for supporting our classroom.”

Funded Mar 13, 2016Thank you so much for my resources. My students have been able to build shapes and learn more hands-on with the materials they have received. They have loved reviewing with our new whiteboards. We have been able to complete more projects and fun learning activities with all our materials. Our next unit will allow us to use the shapes even more and the books that were received. They will be finding the area and volume of each shape in our set. We greatly thank you for the impact you have made on our classroom and hope you will continue to donate in the future.”

This classroom project was brought to life by #BestSchoolDay and 4 other donors.Starting From Scratch
Funded Oct 14, 2015Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my classroom. I use the stapler and hole-punch every day when preparing guided notes for my classes. My students enjoy being able to more easily keep their notebooks organized. My students also love the new pencil sharpener and use it constantly. It is more reliable than my old pencil sharpener. Receiving the new pencil sharpener allowed me to donate my old one to a friend whose classroom did not have a pencil sharpener.
The day I received my new resources, I automatically began to use the rulers and protractors. It was perfect timing because we began our unit on quadrilaterals that day and since we have rulers and protractors, students were able to do hands-on activities with each quadrilateral shape. They were required to measure specific angles and segments of each quadrilateral. Being able to measure the shapes themselves increased their understanding of each specific shape.
The reactions from my students were great when we received our materials. I did not expect much of a response since they are high school students. However, some of them were as excited as I was and were very eager to use the new materials.
Thank you again for your generous support and for greatly impacting my classroom. As a teacher, I am very thankful for supporters like you who care about the well-being of our schools and future generations.”

Mrs. McGregor
