Multi-sensory classrooms are essential to ensure the success of all students. Students in the 21st Century have a rise in sensory-seeking behavior, and their needs must be met. Multi-sensory classrooms improve the development of thought and social skills. Multi-sensory classrooms offer students with cognitive impairments and other challenging conditions the opportunity to enjoy and control a variety of sensory experiences. Your generous donation will make the difference for these students and their sensory needs. The resources needed to create a multi-sensory classroom will be used on a daily basis. Students will have all of these sensory resources and tools readily available to them whenever they are in need of them. They will use these Wobble chairs, liquid motion bubblers, water wigglies, and therapy putty kits to engage in sensory play. These items will increase concentration, focus attention, improve alertness, and awaken memories. They will also improve mobilization, creativity, social relations and communications, and general awareness.
