  • Small Group Supplies

    Funded Nov 5, 2024

I want to extend my deepest thanks for your generous donation of supplies for our small group classroom! Your contribution has made a huge impact on our learning environment, and I'm excited to share how it's being used.

The materials have been instrumental in helping my students engage in hands-on projects. One of the highlights has been using the new art supplies to create visual representations of our learning and for each student to develop a writing portfolio. Students were absolutely thrilled when they first saw the materials. The excitement in their eyes was contagious! They immediately dove into the small group, not thinking about it with the traditional stigma that it comes with.

Looking ahead, my students are working on applying their understanding with a new group in the classroom. These supplies will be essential as they continue to add layers of detail to what they already know. can already see them building stronger connections to the material, and I'm excited to see their growth.

Once again, thank you for supporting our classroom. Your kindness is making a difference in my students' learning experience.”

Your thoughtful contribution has made a significant impact, and it's already creating a more welcoming and productive space for my students. Its also helping with students in small group to get the individualized support they needed.

Thanks to your kindness, my students now have more room to collaborate and engage in their learning. It's not just about the extra seats—it's about the opportunities you've helped create for a more dynamic and comfortable classroom environment.

We are so grateful for your support and for the difference you are making in our educational community. Thank you again for your generosity!”

  • Snack Attack!

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

I hope this message finds you well! I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of snacks to our classroom. Your contribution has made a tremendous difference, not just in terms of helping keep my students energized, but also in creating a positive and welcoming environment for learning.

When my students first saw the snacks, their eyes lit up with excitement. It was such a wonderful moment to see their joy—many of them often come to school hungry, and having these snacks available gives them one less thing to worry about during the school day. It also allowed me to focus on what truly matters: fostering their curiosity and engagement in our lessons.

We've been using the snacks during our collaborative group work sessions and project days, ensuring that every student is fueled and ready to contribute their best ideas. For instance, during our recent group project at the end of the semester, having the snacks available helped to create a relaxed, supportive atmosphere where the students could focus fully on brainstorming and building their presentations.

Looking ahead, we're diving deeper into narrative writing and I can already see that the students are feeling more confident and motivated, knowing they have the resources they need to succeed. With your support, they're not just gaining knowledge—they're also learning important lessons about kindness and community.

Once again, thank you for your generosity and for being a part of our learning journey. The impact of your donation goes beyond just the snacks—it's creating a more positive classroom experience for every student. I'm so excited to see how they continue to grow and thrive with the resources you've helped provide.”

Students feeling ownership of their own books and having consistency in a novel will not only create a strong interest for reading, but build reading comprehension which is holding a majority of our students back. When students build confidence in their fluency, their success trajectory is endless. My project will build literacy and imagination. Students need a novel that intrigues them that they cannot see to put down and I feel that Harry Potter does that. I read a chapter with my students now and every single face was into the book waiting to find out what was next. ..
