My students are warm, passionate young individuals. They are considerate, compassionate, and great thinkers. Our school is a safe haven for our students that need very strong academic support because of learning gaps. Many of our students enter our school several grade levels behind in their ability to read. In my Spanish class, I can help support this literacy gap by giving them opportunities to improve their ability to read in both English and Spanish.
