Hello! My students call me Mrs. A. West and I am a second grade GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) teacher. My students are AMAZING and I am always looking for ways to share my passion of learning! In my class we explore, create, analyze and have fun!!! We don't just read and write about a topic - we do hands on activities, take field trips, make connections, and extend our knowledge and apply it ourselves and our world. In my class, we read stories that exemplifies everything youngsters need to know about courage, friendship, responsibility, character, honesty, and love.
