Flexible seating, a couch, balance ball seats, and wobble chairs, will make a difference in my students’ lives. They learn so differently in this modern age. The first decision I made was to get rid of all the desks! I knew it was not going to be the way to teach and expect students to learn comfortably. I scurried around for old furniture and no matter if our tables and bean bags don’t match, the kids love it. I have two students that stand up during lessons and that’s fine. They love to go to “Read to Self” so they brought their own pillows to sit on in a corner of the classroom. They love movement!
