Supplies for Strong Writing

Thank you so much for the resources that you have helped provide for our classroom!

Working at a Title I school with a high volume of low-income students, it is often difficult for our students to afford the supplies that they need to be successful, or the supplies that they often can afford are low quality. Through your generous donations, all students in my classes this year were able to receive notebooks and pencils all of the highest quality with a consistent format which helped them be successful in their education. The books that were provided with the project have been cherished by many of my students. The students find something to connect to in these books, giving them a deeper meaning to their own lives as well as connecting them to a larger global experience. Having multiple copies of the same book also means that my students can read together and discuss the texts independently.
