  • STEM Centers

    My students have thoroughly enjoyed using the materials from this "STEM Centers" project. We received some amazing items such as magnetic building tiles, Knex building gears, and kid-appropriate coding activities. There was a fair amount of anticipation surrounding these materials. The students were overjoyed at the sight of these new, engaging learning tools. I've since been eagerly asked time and time again about utilizing them.

    Since their initial introduction, my students have been able to engage with them regularly in our STEM centers. Centers rotations means that students take turns using the materials in groups. This has fostered creativity, collaboration and some wonderful construction. We are beyond thankful for these opportunities.”

My experience with English language learners, GATE students, and children with IEPs has taught me to adapt where necessary to ensure my learner is meeting the objective. Furthermore, I have worked to build a community of mutual respect among students, families, and educators in order to truly enrich the learning experience. I am wholeheartedly committed to encouraging critical analysis, creativity, and social consciousness. My mission is to give students a voice and create an inspiring place to grow.
