  • Novel Idea

    Funded Dec 4, 2024

Thank you so much for investing in our classroom. Student enthusiasm for reading has exponentially increased since these materials have arrived. My students have loved reading the many novel sets purchased through this project. They enjoy lounging on the classroom floor and reading a good book with their classmates. All the books from the novel sets are the first book of a series. After reading the first book with their friends, many students have gone on to read the rest of the books in the series independently. These books have truly fostered a love of reading and have helped my third graders, who were nervous about reading a chapter book, discover that reading a chapter books is fun! Thank you for making this happen for us.”

  • Terrific Teamwork

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

Thank you so much for investing in our classroom. The sports equipment purchased for my classroom has been a big hit. At the end of last school year, my students were super excited about having playground equipment for recess. They didn't have any for most of the school year. They enjoyed playing together and engaging in some healthy competition. My new class this school year has been equally excited, especially with the soccer balls. They all seem to love soccer, but they are trying out the other equipment as well. I appreciate your generosity in supplying some wonderful sports equipment for our class.”

  • Phenomenal Phonics

    Funded Feb 13, 2024

Thank you so much for investing in our classroom. The phonics materials purchased for this project have been a phenomenal help to me in delivering quality phonics instruction. Our school uses the Phonics Lesson Library from the 95 Core group phonics program. The standing magnetic whiteboard has been especially helpful in placing magnet chip pieces and magnetic syllable mapping grids for all students to see. In addition to being able to write on it, the whiteboard has hooks, which are super helpful in hanging the half-size pocket chart for teacher guided word sorting. Your contribution to our classroom has made an immense impact on student learning and instruction. I so appreciate your generosity.”

    Funded Nov 6, 2023

Thank you so much for investing in our classroom. The phonics materials purchased for this project have been a phenomenal help to me in delivering quality phonics instruction. Our school uses the Phonics Lesson Library from the 95 Core group phonics program. The standing magnetic whiteboard has been especially helpful in placing magnet chip pieces and magnetic syllable mapping grids for all students to see. In addition to being able to write on it, the whiteboard has hooks, which are super helpful in hanging the half-size pocket chart, which was also purchased in this project, for teacher guided word sorting. The phonics games have been a hit with my students. They are always asking to play again. Your contribution to our classroom has made an immense impact on student learning and instruction. I so appreciate your generosity.”

  • Radical Rewards

    Funded Sep 1, 2023

Thank you so much for investing in our classroom. My students have been diligently working to earn classroom money to purchase the many classroom rewards that are available because of your generosity in funding this project. Students earn class money by achieving gold medals in IXL, trophies in ExactPath, and good scores on AR comprehension quizzes. They have enjoyed perusing the prizes and often have difficulty choosing from all the radical rewards. However, I think that their top 3 favorite items are the mini cubes, slime, and fidget toys. They keep purchasing these things over and over again. My students are learning a lot and having a lot of fun as they work hard to earn money in order to buy their favorite prizes. Thank you for making this happen for us.”

  • Color Craze

    Funded Aug 12, 2023

Thank you so much for investing in our classroom. Your generosity in funding this project has brought many smiles to my students' faces. Daily students are excited to use their colorful whiteboard marker instead of the boring black or blue that they have always had. They are motivated to solve problems and write words in their favorite color. Each week students enjoy correcting their dictation sentences and spelling words with glitter pens. They love choosing a different color each time. Each month, students get to pick a cool, colorful pencil and a bright pencil top eraser to do their work. They are so much happier and motivated to do their work using these colorful items than using the same old standard yellow pencils. Assignments on colored paper is also a nice surprise and fun for the kids. Your contribution to our classroom has been greatly appreciated and has truly brightened our lives.”

  • Random Replacements

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you so much for investing in our classroom. Your generosity in funding project has brought many smiles to my students' faces. They were so excited to finally read the missing books from their favorite series. My students always seem to gravitate and want to read the lasted trending series and popular books. Because these books are often read, they get worn out or sometimes end up missing. We all appreciate your help in replenishing our favorite books. My student have also enjoyed the new series that were provided through this project. Having all these amazing books continues to foster a love of reading in my classroom. Your contribution to our classroom is greatly appreciated.”

  • Classic Classroom

    Funded Nov 17, 2022

Thank you so much for investing in our classroom. I appreciate that you were able to supply my students with some materials that have helped them engage in their learning. The mini whiteboards, magnetic whiteboard cards, and dry erase markers with erasers have helped me deliver quality instruction. My students have been engaged and focused as they have been able to use their personal whiteboards and markers during lessons. Due to the pandemic, our students must learn from home. Students were given a school issued Chromebook, but no mouse. I have found my students are struggling to use engaging technology programs, such as Nearpod and Google Slides, using the trackpad on the Chromebook. Little hands struggle to have the fine motor skills to hold down corners while they move their hand around on the pad. Students need a mouse, which is much easier to control and manipulate. Having a mouse, that each student can use with their Chromebook, will make it easier for my students to have success when participating with distance education.
