Literacy Made Easy
Funded Oct 6, 2021My students were very excited when they received the materials requested. They have been utilizing the small white boards, dry erase makers, and dry erasers to practice writing Chinese characters. These materials help sustain their interest to build Chinese literacy skills. Card stock was used to vocabulary flash cards to strengthen word recognition and word reading skills. Students use linking cubes to count and build up number sense. They have shown improvement in literacy skills and numeracy with these materials. Your kind donations are pivotal in their growth and success. Thank you for your support to cultivate promising citizens.”

On Your Mark, Go!
Funded Sep 28, 2021Students were deprived of physical activities at school setting when pandemic hit. Young children's gross motor skills are impacted as a result. My students are extremely happy when we received the materials. Research shows that children's cognitive level gets accelerated when they are engaged in physical activities. My students are happy learners every day every day after our P.E. lesson with these materials. My students have gotten better at dribbling and kicking soft balls. They also demonstrate good sportsmanship in competitions. Thank you for your donations that support my students' learning, and create happy learners!”

Funded Sep 27, 2021Young children are born creators. They love any hands on activities when it comes to building. My students come to school every day looking forward to trying out their new ideas with these materials. This resource keeps challenging them to think differently and to solve any problem they have encountered during the process of building. They engage in discussions, share their success with peers, encourage each other and work together. "Wow," "Awesome," and "Yay" bring the exciting moments when they worked out any creation. Thank you for your donations that inspire and instill the love of learning!”

Ring It Up!
Funded Sep 26, 2021I have always thought that a well written lesson plan does not lead to optimal learning results without the appropriate teaching materials. This resource does not only integrate academic but social learning. My first graders were very excited when they saw the kits. They learn about trading, making payments and change and how to interact with each other. My students have fun learning those concepts. They are eager every day when it is center time. This resource helps them develop basic financial concepts by using the proper language. Their math skills are also enhanced. Thanks to your donations in support of their learning. They learn by doing and most importantly, they enjoy learning. Thank you again for making a significant difference!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Charles Schwab and 2 other donors.Write Away
Funded Dec 17, 2019One of my instructional goals for my 3rd grade class is to teach them write fluently in different genres. Of the different text types, they lack the skills in informational writing.
The resource I proposed and requested for my students has systematic guideline that shows what informational writing looks like. The practice it offers helps my students to organize and structure their writing effectively.
Your donation has made a significant difference in my students' literacy development. My reluctant writers do not struggle about putting their thoughts down. My low performing group of students are now able to apply the right skills to organize and to compose a sound informational pieces of writing. Your donation makes an indelible mark in their literacy growth!”

Environment Science: Help Our Earth
Funded Feb 6, 2017Thank you for your donations to support my lessons on environmental science. My students had no knowledge of energy saving. My students have benefited from your donations in meaningful ways.
The majority of my students are from low income families. They have no technology at home to help them research online about the importance of saving energy. The network of information enables my students to find answers to their research questions in just a few clicks away.
Your donations are impactful. My students have not only demonstrated growth of knowledge, but shown the ability to put their findings into actions. They are educating their friends and families to help save our Earth with the knowledge gained from research online. You are the agent of change. Thank You!”
