My students are always enthusiastic about learning. At times the classroom can be their only place of refuge and solace. At a lower income school, it is sometimes difficult for students to solely focus on their education, because they are worried about other issues with their home life. By making learning fun, with the use of whiteboards at times, they can let loose and truly enjoy the learning process.
