Students can practice projecting their reading voice, read a book to the class, use it for public speeches practicing language skills, or sing a song. It can also serve as a CD playing. It's about the same price as a regular CD player. A karaoke machine can be a powerful learning tool. For example, a shy student can use it to practice public speaking. Every student can use a karaoke machine to enhance language through listening and speaking. It is how we use the tool that matters. Which student would not want to read their persuasive essay to the class on the karaoke machine? Which student wouldn't want to read their favorite book through the karaoke machine? And lastly, which student wouldn't want to sing their favorite song on the karaoke machine?
