I am a kindergarten teacher at a Title 1 school in Pasco County, FL where 80% of our students are living in poverty. They are amazing students who come from wonderful families who are willing to do whatever it takes to help their children be successful during their schooling. My students are part of a Learner Active Technology-Infused Classroom, in which they are learning how to become twenty-first century learners in a learning environment filled with technology, choices, and collaboration. Most importantly, we are helping to create and foster a love for learning each and everyday in a nurturing, positive, and safe place for our kiddos.
