Exploring the World Around Us!
Funded Dec 1, 2021Wow! These Time magazines have opened up some great discussions. We enjoy going over a weekly magazine about topics we otherwise may not have talked about. The students love the opportunity to read a magazine and learn about things happening in the world around them. This was exactly what I was hoping would happen with the use of these magazines in the classroom! The students even get excited about writing in their journals about what they have learned! We are so excited each week to find something new and exciting to talk about and write about. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to expand our learning. We appreciate your generosity!”

Funded Dec 1, 2021Thank you for your generous donation! We are using our language arts games daily and building our skills and our confidence! These have been so helpful and such a fun way for students to practice their skills. My favorite part about this donation is hearing the laughter as students work together to play the language arts games. They are having fun practicing the skills and collaborating together in the small group. The students have asked me to be sure you know they are very thankful for your support in their learning. We appreciate all that you have done for us! Thank you!”

Funded Jun 27, 2021We are so appreciative of your donation. The visuals you have supported our classroom with have greatly impacted student success. We are using the 120 chart, Place Value chart, Money Count and magnet chart, writing chart daily. These are used in whole group setting and students are able to see them clearly and refer back to them as needed. The timer is an awesome tool for small group rotations. Students are able to see how much time is left for each station and can hear the buzzer clearly when it is time to switch. The magnetic dominos and money have been extremely useful for our curriculum. Students are able to see them clearly during instruction and the tools are bright and fun providing a fresh twist on their learning. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so grateful for your generosity.”

Funded Aug 9, 2020I cannot thank you enough for the impact your donation has had for our classroom. Our lives have been influenced greatly by the changes that have come with the Covid-19 pandemic. We have had to make some major adjustments to the way we teach and the way our students learn. Your donation has given our class the opportunity to continue to learn and building individually through Morning Tub exploration. In a typical school year, students have worked together with materials to explore and challenge their minds. They would use what we call "Morning Tubs" of materials to create buildings, towns, towers, and more, and they would do it together. With the safety procedures in place, we thought we were going to have to eliminate this part of our day, due to the fact that students are not able to share materials under the safety protocols. With your donation we were able to continue to use Morning Tubs! The majority of the students claim that this is their favorite part of the day! We are so thankful for your generosity, as we are now able to continue to start the day off with smiles, sharing and "distant" collaboration, and overall exploration! Thank you for supporting us. We are so grateful for you!”

Tools to Improve Reading Skills
Funded Nov 16, 2018The students in our class have truly enjoyed using the tools you have been so generous in donating to! We have used the CVC blending cards to learn to read more words by identifying sounds. We have also used the sight word cards to continue to practice identifying sight words and learning to use them in sentences and our reading. Students have also used the sight word work books to practice these skills as well as build their use of writing these sight words. These tools have helped us in our differentiation in the classroom to reach all levels of learners. Thank you for your generosity.”

Funded Nov 15, 2017I want to send my sincerest thanks to the donors of this project. Our students were over the moon with your generous donation for our classroom. Many of the students struggle with reading and the tools you have helped provide us with have given us the opportunity to provide them with more support but also the opportunity to practice the skills independently. It has been amazing to see the students take pride in their learning. These tools have increased their engagement and desire to become better readers.
All of the students in my class have the desire to perform well and be successful in what they do. You have given them the opportunity to soar in their independent practice and have given them the confidence they need to continue building both their reading and leadership skills!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

Giving Students What They Need to Succeed!
Funded Mar 29, 2016I cannot thank you enough! The students have truly enjoyed the standing desks in the classroom. The desks have helped students to focus and not let their need for movement to get in a way of their learning. The desks have helped students pay attention more thoroughly and for a longer period of time. I am so proud of the students for using these desks appropriately and showing their gratitude daily for your donation. We will continue to use these desks in our everyday learning. They have proved to be a successful addition to our classroom. We are truly grateful.”
