  • The Wild Robot Escapes...We Need to Read the Sequel!

    Thank you so much for your generous donation proving books for my 3rd grade gifted students. The students read the first Wild Robot book last year and were eager to read the sequel.

    Your donation has allowed us to hold a weekly book club group that the students look forward to every week. Without these books we would not be able to have the meaningful book club group that the students anticipate having to further their love for reading.

  • STEM Education Kits

    Funded Jul 7, 2015

    The project you have funded has helped expose our gifted and talented 1st and 2nd grader to the world of STEM education. With these kits the students are able to work on real word projects that help solve everyday problems. The students were shocked that they were able to use materials like these and have even expressed that they will continue to educate themselves further at home on the topics we've covered.

    The students have been using the engineering design process with these kits and will use what they've learned in future STEM challenges.”

My students range in ages 6-11. Many of them come from homes of low income and lack many experiences compared to other school age children in other areas. They love to learn new things everyday and very much enjoy anything that is hands on and gets their brains thinking.
