Technology is becoming a way of life. Throughout the world, we see technology improving quality of life and helping people in ways that would have seemed like science fiction to previous generations. In today's world, students need to be educated in order to survive and strive as a contributing member of society. From engineering structures that hold up under uncertain adverse environments to designing and developing applications that create enjoyable leisure time, students in the upcoming generation will be faced with unforeseen challenges that this ever-changing and technologically centric world may present. The LEGO EV3 robots will help my students learn about computer programming and its applications to engineering and robotic technology. This can help them be ready to face the challenges that the future may bring. These robots will allow them to design, build and use programs to work collaboratively to solve real problems that people are facing today and may expect to face in the future.
