  • Fueling Learning Part Two

    Funded Mar 24, 2025

Thank you so much for helping to keep our students motivated and full of energy. Your donations go very far and keep our students safe and satiated through their extra-curricular activities. In addition, these kids deserve it. With all the work they do in their classes, these donations for the activities is just the right thing for them to unwind after a long school day.”

  • Fueling Our Track Stars Spring Season

    Funded Feb 4, 2023

thank you so much for supporting us this champion season. Because of you, our students had quick snacks they could eat before our meets during the outdoors spring season. I am happy to report that we were able to win the team championship for girls in our division and second place in our division for the boys. Everyone was able to complete their race with vigor and their heads up because they were prepared and had the energy needed to do their part for the team. We are so proud of their efforts and know this would not be possible without the thoughtful donations you gave us. Our students knew that no only their coaches and parents believed in them but so did you, our donors.”

  • Snacks for Our Knights

    Funded Nov 14, 2024

thank you for your generous donation. Our scholar-athletes have been going to more track meets this year and have snacks to keep them energized during our competitions. When our students saw all the snacks, they were amazed and thankful they did not have to worry about being hungry during practice or any of our meets. One of our scholar-athletes is actually running at a major competition with olympians. We are so excited to have the support of donors like you to help our students thrive. With this momentum, we will work towards compering outdoors for the spring season and would definitely love your help again to keep our track stars fueled.”

  • Fueling Our Track Stars Part Three

    Funded Apr 5, 2023

thank you so much for giving our athletes snacks to eat before practice. Our practices start right after school and our students are typically hungry. Due to your generosity, our students were able to get healthy, energy boosting snacks that got them through practice and their walk home. In addition, your gift allowed us to power through competitive and long track meets. Many of our students do not have the funds to buy food from the snack bar at these events. It may be snacks but your donations make a great impact on our scholars.”

  • Fueling Our Track Stars Part Two

    Funded Jan 5, 2023

thank you so much for fueling our track stars. Due to your generosity our players are able to come to practice and track meets energized and satiated. Our students were very excited to see all the snacks that were available. They looked forward to finishing practice to get apple sauces, cereals and chewy bars amongst other foods that you so generously donated to us.

Our meets are very long but our students are very motivated and have been improving immensely at these athletic competitions. Our next steps is to make sure we have enough snacks for our players during the spring season. More students are interested in joining the track team because of where we go and what we do. Our journeys and student interest is because of you all. Thank you so much.”

    Funded Jan 31, 2023

thank you so much for supporting BAMM in their first year competing in the shot put. Your generous donations gave us access to shot puts and mats for practice.

We did exceedingly well in our middle school competitions at the armory with one of our students placing 3rd overall in the mixed shot put division. Many of ours students were happy to learn how to throw a shot put and experience the field portion in track and field.

Right now we are in outdoor season and have a very promising team. Thank you so much for believing in our students and giving them a chance to experience and compete in different sports.”

you do not know how helpful you have been to me this year. Due to your generosity we we were able to outfit a living environment lab. You have made the respiration, macromolecules, DNA and ice cream labs possible because of your help.

Getting the state required labs done is all because of your kindness. It has been a joy to see our students stay behind to complete labs. In addition, they enjoy labs it helps them to understand the concept which is a blessing to me.

In the new year, they will be introduced to more biology concepts and will be able to experience the kinesthetic approach to it and that is because you believed in them. Thank you so much.”

I want my students to look like a team during our track meets. I want people to know they are representing our school as well. Typically my students come in whatever they have for track meets. With uniforms we will have more unity on the team and my students will feel proud to represent our school. They say when you look good, you perform well. JHS 162 competes at NYRR races every week. They have run distances of 100 m to 4 miles. Many of my students have been scared to run a long distance. However, the sense of accomplishment they have after facing a fear is priceless.
