  • A Fresh Start in Third Grade!

    Funded Mar 24, 2025

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your incredibly generous donation to my classroom. Your thoughtful contribution of school supplies and items for the upcoming year means the world to me, and I know it will have a profound impact on my students.

Thanks to your support, I will be able to provide my students with the tools they need to thrive in a positive, engaging learning environment. Your generosity ensures that my classroom will be equipped with everything necessary to foster creativity, collaboration, and academic success.

It is because of people like you that our educational community continues to grow stronger and more connected. Your kindness does not go unnoticed, and I am truly grateful for your belief in the importance of education and your willingness to make such a meaningful difference.

Once again, thank you for your support. It is greatly appreciated, and I look forward to seeing the impact it will have on the students next year!”

  • Reading Buddies for Grade 3!

    Funded Dec 13, 2024

I am incredibly grateful for your generous donations of stuffed animal reading buddies for my classroom. These adorable companions are not only a comforting presence for my students, but they also serve as motivational tools during reading time. Each student has the opportunity to read to their stuffed animal, which helps them feel more confident and engaged in their reading practice. Having a "buddy" to read to creates a calm and encouraging environment where they can focus on improving their skills without feeling judged or pressured.

Additionally, these stuffed animals play an important role in reinforcing positive behavior. Students are more motivated to demonstrate good behavior in order to earn the privilege of using their reading buddies. It creates a fun and interactive way to encourage responsibility and respect in the classroom while fostering a sense of ownership and pride in their learning. Your thoughtful donation has not only contributed to their educational development but has also helped create a classroom atmosphere built on kindness and encouragement. Thank you so much for making such a positive impact in my students' lives!”

  • Let's Get This Class Ready!

    Funded Jul 23, 2024

I want to express my sincere gratitude for your generous donation of school supplies for my third-grade students. Your contributions of folders, erasers, and other essential items have made a tremendous impact in our classroom. In a Title I school where many families face financial challenges, your support ensures that all students have the tools they need to succeed. It's heartwarming to see their excitement when they receive these supplies, knowing that they can focus on their learning without the worry of lacking basic necessities.

Your kindness not only benefits the students but also provides much-needed relief to their families. Many parents struggle to afford these supplies, and your generosity eases some of their burdens. By investing in our students' education, you are helping to create a more equitable learning environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive. Thank you for your unwavering support and for making a positive difference in the lives of our students and their families. Your contributions truly inspire hope and encouragement in our community!”

  • A Love for Stories in Grade 3!

    Funded Dec 26, 2023

Wow...I am so excited about this donation of classroom library books. The children enjoy and learn so much from story time and quality materials are always beneficial. We now truly have books for every season that will guide our literacy lessons. These books will be used for so much and I really could not have been able to provide for my students like this without your help. I can not express how wonderful and meaningful it is to know donors like you are so willing to brighten and enhance the lives of children.

    Thank you!

  • Organized Literacy - Bookshelves for Grade 3

    Funded Dec 4, 2023

On behalf of myself and my third-grade students, I wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of bookshelves to our classroom. Your contribution has made a significant impact on our learning environment.

The bookshelves you provided have been put to excellent use. One shelf is designated for storing our iPads and computer accessories, allowing my students to access these resources easily and keep them organized. This has enhanced our technological learning experiences and streamlined our classroom activities.

The other bookshelf is dedicated to housing our monthly and seasonal read-aloud selections. Having a designated space for these books has made it easier for me to plan and facilitate engaging read-aloud sessions for my students. Your support has directly contributed to fostering a love for reading and learning among my students.

Your generosity has not gone unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for your kindness.

Once again, thank you for your thoughtful contribution. Your support means the world to us and makes a real difference in our classroom.”

  • You've Got Mail ... New Mailboxes for Grade 3!

    Funded Dec 4, 2023

Thank you so much for your thoughtful donation, especially during the holidays, it makes this even more special for my classroom.

To give you a back story on my mailboxes, I've been teaching for ten years now, and I had the same old mailboxes since 2013. They were not really mailboxes, but shoe shelves turned into mailboxes. They were given to me by a coworker so who knows how long they really were in use!

Those old mailboxes moved through two schools, four classrooms, three grades, and they also survived a flood in my classroom. Last year, I put sticky wallpaper on the outside of them in hopes of making them look better and let's just say that kind of made it worse! (LOL)

So, it was time to let them go. You have no idea how great it feels to have sturdy, new, clean mailboxes that can accommodate 30 students! My students were SO EXCITED to see and use their mailboxes this week. One student even asked if he could wipe them down and dust them!

I KNOW that these mailboxes will carry me through my career and will be used every day by gentle hands that appreciate them so much.”

  • Books for All Seasons

    Funded Jun 12, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation. When I think about my time in elementary school, I remember my teachers always reading seasonal stories and doing class projects during the holidays. The books that have been donated to me will ensure that I keep this tradition alive for years to come. These wonderful books cover all holidays, and will teach my students for years to come.

What I'm most excited about, are all the Massachusetts historical read aloud books. In Massachusetts, third graders learn about state history in social studies. With a lot of my students being new to Massachusetts, I feel like it's my honor to teach them about the rich history of this beautiful state. Having these books at hand will ensure I do so.”

  • School Supplies

    Funded May 30, 2023

Words can not express how happy I was receiving your generous donation. Knowing that my students will have all the supplies they need for the upcoming school year puts my nerves at ease.

Everett serves many students who come from low income families, it can be burdensome to expect parents to purchase school supplies for their children.

Without your help, my incoming third graders would have been left out of many basic supplies that I wouldn't of been able to provide.

Once again, thank you so much for your generosity and I promise these supplies will be put to good use.”

  • Print .. in Color!

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you immensely for your donation to my project and for funding my classroom printer.

I can not put into words how much easier it is now to have access to copies for my classroom. Without this printer, I was constantly waiting for access to our schools copier which frequently gets overwhelmed and broken.

To print anything out in color, I had to ask friends and family members if I could borrow their printer, or I would have to go to Staples and pay out of pocket.

Having a colored printer of my own to use has helped my classroom function so much easier and has made teaching more efficient. I recently used the printer to print out fun literacy and math games, my students were so happy to see the games in COLOR!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

  • Help Miss M's Class Get A New Rug!

    Funded Jul 8, 2016

    Dear Donor,

Thank you for your generous contribution to my classroom. Last school year, I was moved into a new classroom that had no rug in it. I bought a cheap rug from a discount store so I could have a place for my students to sit on. This rug was small and most of my students had to sit on the floor. It was also cheaply made and fell apart after a few months. Your donation gave me a brand new classroom rug that I would never be able to afford on my own. It is large and every student can fit on it, it is also made of very high quality materials and will last me a long time! My students love the rug, they always tell me about how bright and colorful it is, they also like sitting on their own special spot. Most of my students favorite thing to do on the rug is to lay down and read a book or work on the iPad during Centers. THANK YOU SO MUCh!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cheever

All of my students are multicultural students. For most, English is not their first language. Despite all of their challenges, my students love to be in school. They all try their best. Most of my students do not receive the same support at home as they do in school. My students do not have any learning opportunities outside of the classroom and my classroom has become a safe, fun, and exciting place to be and learn! I want to provide my students who otherwise don't have much with the absolute best materials so I can teach across all learning levels and walks of life! The most important job I have as an educator is to ensure my students are really learning, and to make sure they feel comfortable and safe in my classroom.
