Throughout the day students use a visual schedule to help them sequence the different events that will happen in the day. Transitioning from activity to activity can become overwhelming, challenging, or upsetting to some students when they do not have enough of a heads up. With a Time Timer, students will have a visual and will be able to see how much time is left before it is time to transition. This will help students be more prepared as to when exactly the transition will take place. An LED activity table will provide the students with another avenue to engage in sensory exploration. In our classroom students do a lot of hands-on work with tangible tactile objects. With the LED activity table, students will be able to work on writing, tracing, science experiments, colors, shadows, and more. Just like any other typical kid, our students enjoy engaging in play. My students will benefit from an exercise ball because it is big and easy for them to throw and catch!
