  • Tape to Save Time

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you for taking the time and opportunity to show support for my students. It really means the world to them to see that they have a whole community behind them supporting their education and future. It is people like you that give them the motivation to work hard and continue moving forward despite their struggles. They are always so excited each time a donor contributes to their education. Students were able to complete projects much faster and have less waste using the automatic tape dispenser.”

    Ms. Hansen

I cannot thank you enough for your generous contributions to our classroom. It is so much more than a monetary donation each time you donate. It is a learning opportunity, knowledge gained, a smile on a students face, a door opened to new possibilities, new interest discovered, and so much more that you provide to our classroom and students. Each time we get new materials thanks to your donations, the students get to discover new things and I get to watch their self confidence grow. The students get to see that their education is important to not only themselves but also to their very own community members and see that their community care and our invested in their futures. Thank you for all that you have provided to our classroom!”

Welcome! In my classroom we all are unique and capable of anything with a little hard work. I set a really good example of this for my kids. I am the first in my family to go to college. I also am a native Mississippian who moved to Texas in 2014 and got hired on mid year to teach Texas History so my first year teaching in Texas was a BIG learning experience for both myself and my students (And they get a kick out of that little uniqueness). We celebrate the diversity of our classroom, school, and society, and know that diversity is what makes us the awesome country we are today. Each student has something unique to contribute to the classroom. I like to encourage kids to take charge of their own learning and really experience what history is all about. We like to take part in both direct teaching and project based learning reaching the learning styles of all students. My passion has always been teaching.
