My students don't have access to a school library and not all students are able to make it to their local library. That means they rely heavily on teachers to provide a diverse range of books in their classroom libraries. Specially, my struggling readers need high interest lower level books that challenge them without being too hard or for little kids.
These materials will help provide my students with more options to find their next favorite book. In addition in class reading, my students are encouraged to bring books home for independent reading. I want them to always have access to a book and am more than happy to be able to provide that access.
