Inspiring Young Minds

My students have been using the cameras to document special events and their time at school. They have photographed their time making butter in class, a field trip with their upper elementary buddies and family events. They enjoy expressing their artistic creativity through photography. They also get excited when it is time to read their Time for Kids. always asking if they can do it the following day. And, the sensory objects are very soothing to the class.

When my students first found out and received our gifts, they were excited. A few oohs and ahhs and lots of cheers. Even though we have been working with these materials for a few months, the luster of the excitement has not been lost.

As we begin our second half of the school year, our next step is to add a writing element with the photography. We will also continue to implement the Time for Kids and use the sensory objects for those who need them.
