  • My New Kindergarten Classroom

    A few times per week, our class's play area is on the blacktop. Thank you for helping me give our students creative and engaging STEM activities to do during recess and outdoor time. You have helped me to supply our students with creative building items. They are more engaged on the playground and it has been wonderful seeing the creative ways they use these giant fort building sets, and outdoor building blocks! They are building and growing their STEAM skills individually as well as working with peers!”

  • STEM Outdoor Activities!

    Thank you so much for donating to support our outdoor STEAM play areas. Our students are loving the the many options to expand their learning and creative play outside.

    When the students arrived to school the day after we set up the new play area, their faces lit up! It was interesting to see how they spread out amongst the new items. Half of them could not wait to get to the play house, and the other half went straight for the building toys.

    I'm always so impressed with the things these little minds can build. Thank you for your help in giving them an outlet to learn and express creativity!”

  • The One and Only Ivan Novel Study

    Funded Apr 7, 2022

    Thank you for supplying my 5th grade students with the novel "The One and Only Ivan." The students truly enjoyed reading Ivan's story. We studied the characters, we learned about saving animals and all had a new outlook on animals in captivity. When we finished the novel we explored the real-life Ivan by watching videos of him. This was an activity I will do again and again and your donation of these books will be enjoyed by many students, in many classes, over many years. Thank you so very much.”
