Our school is a Title I School. Due to their economical situation, most of my students qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch, and all of them are part of the ESOL Program (English For Speakers of Other Languages). The majority of my students have recently moved to the United States from places like Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Brazil, Cuba, etc., however they are require to pass their state exams and all the district's required assessments, with the hazard of not knowing English. Most of them are participants of the Families in Transition Program.
