The students in my school come from very diverse backgrounds. Some have access at home to 21st century learning tools, but many do not. The building I am in is also the hearing impaired center for elementary students in the district, so we have several students with hearing impairment. We have five classes in each grade level - K-5, for a total of 30 classes of students. Each class has 21-26 students. We have one full time and one part time computer teacher in our school. The full time teacher will see 550 to 600 students each week. The part time teacher will see 110-125 students each week. Our school district is the fasted growing district in the state. We have new students entering all of the time. Our community if very proud of the successes that our school district can boast about, bur we strive to keep up with growth and constantly changing technology.
