Funded Jul 13, 2015I want to take a few minutes to thank you for your thought and donation to my classroom. Having the TIME Magazine for my students has helped in many ways! It brings nothing but joy to my face when I see how excited they are to read the new articles when the arrive.
The first major impact I seen was the desire to read. My students love to read fiction, but they struggled with non-fiction text. My students have quickly learned how to navigate the articles and understand non-fiction topics. In addition, I have been able to use the magazines to teach text-features.
As a class the students came to me in August as struggling readers. I truly feel that the magazines and activities to go with the articles are pushing my students to become better readers!!”
