  • Inspiring Young Artists with Scholastic Art Magazines

    Funded Mar 23, 2025

Thank you so much for helping my classroom! I am so excited to share the news with my students. Middle school students love learning about artists and their lives. They ask questions about their art, share thoughts and opinions, and love creating in similar ways. The Scholastic Art magazines will allow my students to access materials that will enrich this art experience. Thank you for your support of the arts in public education!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Schneider

  • Glaze Organization

    Funded Feb 11, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donation! I've already started organizing the glazes, and I can't wait to see the impact this will have on my students when we begin glazing in a few weeks. The jars and label maker are truly game-changers—making the glazing process more efficient, accessible, and engaging for everyone. Now, more students will be able to use the same colors at the same time, keeping creativity flowing without delays.

Your support is making a real difference in our classroom, and I'm so grateful for your kindness. Thank you for helping bring this vision to life!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Schneider

  • Bringing Art Into Focus

    Funded Dec 27, 2024

I am so grateful for your kindness and support in funding a document camera and stand for my middle school art classroom. Your donations will make an incredible difference in the way I teach and engage all students.

This new tool allows me to demonstrate art techniques with precision, ensuring every student has a clear view, no matter where they sit in the room. I can also record lessons for students who are absent or need a refresher! The camera also helps me share student work and celebrate creativity with the entire class! I can't believe how much clearer and quicker this new set up is. THANK YOU!

Thanks to your generosity, my students have the opportunity to better understand classroom lessons. You have truly made a positive impact on their learning experience.

Thank you for believing in our classroom and supporting the arts in public education.”

    Mrs. Schneider

  • Makerspace Madness in the Art Room

    Funded Apr 15, 2024

Woohooooo! We are funded! What a great push to get us through the rest of the school year! Our Makerspace is a busy place and kids love creating, making, and doing when they finish their regular projects early. I appreciate the sticker art and the diamond art kits - students do, too! We love the make and take aspect of them, as well as the benefits to our mental health when using them! We are cool, calm, and collected when we can participate in a Zen activity like sticker art. I haven't put out a puzzle in years because we always lose pieces. Now we have a way to properly store and keep track of our puzzle and puzzle pieces! We have shared art journals, games, and problem solving activities to add to our repertoire of activities! Yes! Thank you so much for supporting us!”

  • Just the Basics

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you so much for helping us get basic supplies for our art room! We are so excited to use crayons in 5th grade - hoping to do a wax/batik project in May, and have used the markers multiple times already! We have used them to transfer a photo to watercolor paper, create/color tessellations, and for general use around the art room. Having access to quality supplies is so important in our classroom. Donors like you make such an impact on my students! I am always sure to mention where our supplies came from and kids are always extra respectful and careful with our donated supplies. They know and appreciate you! Thank you for caring!”

  • Art Room Potpourri

    Funded Jan 12, 2024

I am incredibly grateful for your generous support in funding our project, "Art Room Potpourri." Thanks to your contributions, my students will have access to a diverse array of supplies that will enhance their artistic journey and foster their creativity. From the early finisher games that will keep them engaged and inspired during downtime to the paint bottles, trays, and figures for mini art galleries that will enrich their hands-on learning experiences, your generosity will have a profound impact on their artistic development in my classroom. Your belief in the importance of arts education and your willingness to invest in our classroom speaks volumes about your dedication to empowering young minds. Thank you for making it possible for my students to explore their creativity and express themselves through the transformative power of art. We appreciate you!”

  • Art Journaling for All!

    Funded Jan 12, 2024

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous contribution to our classroom through DonorsChoose. Your support has made a significant impact on our 8th-grade art students by providing them with the invaluable resource of art journals. These journals are a canvas for creativity, a place where our students can spark creativity, practice techniques, and get motivated to start art class each day!

Thanks to your kindness, our students now have the tools they need to document their artistic journey. Your donation not only enhances their artistic skills but also fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment in their work. As they fill 365 Days of Art with their drawings, paintings, doodles, and reflections, they are not just creating art—they are building confidence, developing their voices, and laying the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of the arts. Your generosity has truly transformed our classroom into a vibrant hub of creativity and self-expression.

Thank you once again for your incredible support and belief in the power of arts education. Your generosity has made a lasting impact on our students' lives, and we are deeply grateful for your investment in their futures.”

  • SmART Snacks for Our Bears!

    Funded Jan 12, 2024

On behalf of myself and my students, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for your incredibly thoughtful donation of snacks for our classroom. Your contribution helped us get granola bars, fruit strips, and pop tarts! These have truly made a world of difference in our learning environment and start to our day. It's amazing how something as simple as a snack can have such an impact on our students' ability to focus, learn, and thrive throughout the day. Your kindness ensures that their minds and bodies are nourished, setting the stage for success both academically and beyond.

Beyond the nutritional value, your donation sends a powerful message to our students—that there are caring individuals like you who believe in their potential and want to support their journey. Your generosity not only fills their stomachs but also fills their hearts with a sense of belonging and worth. Thank you so much for helping us start our days out right. We appreciate you!”
