Hokki Stools for the Win!
Funded Oct 13, 2017Thank you is not quite an adequate expression for your kindness. It is much more than that. Our classroom has benefited in SO many ways from the addition of Hokki Stools for our classroom. We originally started with 6 stools and the students would rotate days they could use them. With the addition of 8 more stools from this project, there is less sharing and more seat time for every kid. They are used everyday and the students ask to take them along when they go to small groups, or even assemblies. I am encouraging them to build their core strength as well as get their wiggles out. The engagement during whole group instruction and independent time has skyrocketed.
After seeing the success in my classroom the parent teacher club at our school generously bought us 6 more stools! That makes a total of 20 for the whole room. With 25 kids, that makes very few who do not have a Hokki Stool.
Thank you for generously funding my project, which allows me to generously pour into the lives of my students. Please know that you are greatly appreciated!”

Selective Seating to Sustain Scholars
Funded Aug 29, 2017WOW! What a difference the Hokki stools have already made in our classroom! At first the students just wanted to use one because it was the new thing in the classroom. Now students are seeing the benefits to their learning.
One student in particular has greatly benefited from the use of the Hokki stool. His distracting behaviors used to include tapping, whistling, rocking back in his chair and or falling out of his chair. Through the use of the Hokki stool, he has gained some mobility and outlet for his body. He can move constantly through gentle rocking. I have seen his distracting behaviors greatly diminish.
Thank you for investing in my students and their learning. Thank you for seeing the value in movement and flexible seating. You have made a difference for my current classroom as well as all future students to cross my classroom door.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Rodli
