My students have a variety of levels of art skills. About 50 percent of my students have difficulty maintaining supplies. The art journals would provide each student with their own book to adapt as they wish with special markers and up-cycled materials. Many of my students are at risk of dropping out of school, while secretly hoping to go to college. I would like to provide as many opportunities for success and create a goal for college. By providing the exact same notebook to each student, there will be no stigma of coming from an economic disadvantaged household.
