First graders are very wiggly by nature. The more they are able to move, the better! So why not allow them to move while they learn? I am requesting materials that will allow my students to make choices in their education. These choices will allow my extremely independent six and seven year-olds to think about how they learn best. They will then choose where they will sit to ensure their success. The donations from you and this project will promote independence within my students. The seating choices I have requested will be used daily in my classroom. Students will work independently and in small collaborative groups based on their own personal learning style.
