Our students visit the school library frequently during the school year. For many students, their access to quality books ends when the school year ends. We are trying to keep books in our students' hands all year long. Our district has agreed to supply us with a bus. We have the books and volunteers to drive the bus during the summer months, now we need storage to organize the shelving! To achieve our vision of summer access to quality literature for our students, we need storage materials to ensure the books are transportable and accessible on the Book Bus. We are requesting storage crates that can accommodate various book sizes. These will keep the books organized during transport and also allow students to easily find the books they want. We need bungee cords to keep the crates on the shelves while the bus is in motion.
