Kinderlit For TK
Funded Sep 10, 2017Thank you for your kind and generous donation to my project. The books purchased have been invaluable teaching my youngest learners! The kinderlit curriculum is designed to pair with these specific books and without them I would spend countless hours looking to borrow them. The time not spent searching is precious to me and positively impacts my students. I have been able to dedicate more time to working with struggling readers, planning exciting lessons and setting up engaging centers for my students.
In addition, My students love the engaging stories and informative non-fiction readers that have been added to our classroom. Everyday students are learning about topics such as spiders, dinosaurs and snow by reading these engaging books. We are having such a wonderful year with the addition of kinderlit and the supporting literature, I surely cannot thank you enough for supporting my classroom. Your gift has been a blessing for 19 excited kinders and one grateful teacher”
With gratitude,

Kindergarten STEM Essentials
Funded Jul 8, 2015Thank you again for supporting our project, Kindergarten STEM essentials. It has truly been a blessing to have many of the materials needed to expose my students to STEM based activities and learning quests. So far this year, students have been using the I-pad minis to explore kid friendly sites and apps that have allowed them to investigate map making and map creating. They have used the building materials and folders to plan and build a topical map of our school and their neighborhood. It has been so exciting seeing their faces light up when they finally understand the connection between the plan and the model! Each and every one of my students, regardless of ability, has been successful in meeting the performance standards for this unit! In addition, these activities meet or exceed the Common Core standards for Science, Math and Social Studies for Kindergarten and First Grade all at the same time! Without your generous gift, I would not have been able to lead my little learners on this fascinating adventure!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Snider
