My class has 24 children that are four and five years old. They enjoy dancing, singing, listening to stories, games, story telling and learning! Academically, my students range from knowing 1 letter/number to all of them, but one thing that they all have in common is that they all love listening to stories, telling their own stories, and playing floor games! Our school district is located in a rural part of the U.S. As we all know, some children are less fortunate than others. Many children do not have age appropriate books at home, and some children are not read to on a daily basis unless they are at school.
